Aeromed Africa will be incorporated into the 4th biennial Emergency Medicine Society of South Africa International Conference (EMSSA) taking place in Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from the 5th -7th of November 2013. We are very excited to participate in the largest and most prestigious International Emergency Medicine Conference in Africa which attracts over 800 delegates. The inaugural Aeromed Africa Conference & Exhibition took place in March 2012 and was a first of its kind conference that addressed the role and contribution aero-medical services can play in the contributing to healthcare service delivery and in particular creating access to scarce health resources in developing countries. Aeromed Africa welcomed over 200 delegates and 18 trade exhibitors. We invite you to be part of EMSSA 2013 by becoming a delegate, sponsor or exhibitor and in so doing help EMSSA promote & support the development of emergency medicine in the country.

Please visit the EMSSA website:www.emssa2013.co.za for more details.

EMSSA represents a group of enthusiastic healthcare professionals dedicated to the development of quality emergency care throughout South Africa. Emergency Medicine has only recently been recognized as an independent speciality, although this country has always had a large burden of patients presenting to our pre-hospital and hospital emergency services with experienced and passionate personnel rendering much needed care.

These are truly exciting times for everyone involved with emergency care. Have a look at our website for recent developments and to see how you can become more involved.
